Senior Manager, Enterprise Sales - Netherlands
About the Job:
Come and join us! The Red Hat Sales team in the Netherlands is looking for a Senior Sales Manager for our top 25 Enterprise Customers. In this role, you will guide a team of senior Account Executives to achieve their quarterly and annual revenue targets. Through your extensive leadership experience, you know how to continuously motivate, coach, and grow your team. In this role, you will need experience selling complex software solutions, particularly in environments with multiple products.
What you will do:
- Guide a team of senior Account Executives to achieve quarterly and annual revenue and growth targets by establishing sales goals and monitoring the achievement of those goals; take necessary action to ensure sales targets are achieved.
- Motivate, coach, and mentor your team to both grow existing accounts and capture new business.
- Design strategic sales plans through competitive analysis, customer segmentation, and thoughtful product positioning.
- Provide disciplined, ethical, and focused leadership to the sales organization that will foster success based on a culture of respect for customers, associates, and Red Hat values.
- Establish and evangelize a sales qualification and pipeline management process through the development and maintenance of executive and senior-level client relationships at strategic key accounts.
- Become a practical partner for sales by maintaining a personal presence and being highly visible through direct customer engagements in the field.
- Directly participate in closing deals at key accounts and supporting business initiatives for future success within the region.
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience with leadership within a technology sales organization; software company is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets in both direct and channel routes-to-market.
- Track record of delivering annual sales targets.
- Proven experience developing sales teams that consistently deliver 25% year-over-year increases in revenue
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to engage a diverse set of stakeholders in a matrixed organization - Experience and passion for coaching, mentoring and managing a team
- Solid strategic planning skills and understanding of sales cycles
- Experience with value based proposition services led sales campaigns for successful solution delivery
- Experience working with multiple types of partner organizations, public cloud providers, sector specific cloud and hosting providers, global systems integrators, sector specific systems integrators, solutions providers, and distributors and resellers
- Experience with selling to application development teams and infrastructure delivery or operations teams
- Domain knowledge and understanding of the business drivers
- Ability to articulate the value of Red Hat’s solutions, differentiation, and the opportunity to customers and partners
- Fluent communication skills in Dutch and English
