We guarantee that this relationship will be a two way street where we will invest the time and resources into your success which will enable the sales development organization to continue growing.What you’ll be doingSales Development Representatives at Bigeye are on the leading edge of the field. They are the first contact with future Bigeye customers who need Data Observability but haven’t yet discovered the solution.

  • Absorb the sales development playbook and be ready to start contacting new prospects 10 days from start date.
  • Commit to becoming a trusted member of the sales team while collaborating with our Account Executives, Sales Engineers, and members of various other teams.
  • Work closely with the sales team in the ongoing optimization of strategic sales approaches.
  • Provide insights to, and collaborate with, marketing to ensure conversion rates are world-class across the funnel.
  • Conduct account development best practices with email, phone, and social touches usingtools LinkedIn Sales Navigator and HubSpot.
  • Speak credibly with prospects by developing expertise in data observability, the needs of modern data teams, and the challenges facing decision-makers such as VPs of Engineering, Directors of Analytics, and Data Architects.
  • Become an expert at using lead generation tools to routinely extract contacts and create accurate and targeted lists of prospects.
  • Extensive use of Hubspot and other tools to build and maintain accurate activity, contact, and account information of all customers and prospects.

What You Bring

  • You have 6 months experience in outbound sales or business development
  • Demonstrated experience selling technology and/or software
  • The ability to learn and articulate complex subject matter
  • Adept at investigation and research
  • Natural storytelling ability
  • Curious and not afraid to challenge the status quo
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, changing environment with minimal direction
  • Bias to action, hustle, proactivity, and persistence

Compensation

  • Base salary range $60,000-70,000 (+commission and equity), depending on location
