Overview

The Partner Accreditation Program Manager is responsible for designing, executing, and managing GitHub’s Partner Accreditation Framework, enabling Regional Systems Integrators (RSIs) and GitHub-only partners to build and demonstrate technical and delivery excellence. This role plays a key part in scaling GitHub’s global Technical Partner Skilling programs, ensuring that partners are trained, certified, and equipped to deliver high-value GitHub solutions that drive customer success.

This individual will lead the operational management of partner learning programs, manage global training delivery, and maintain oversight of accreditation systems and reporting. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented program manager with strong operational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills, capable of connecting strategic skilling objectives with flawless execution across GitHub and Microsoft partner ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Design and oversee the Partner Accreditation Framework for GitHub Regional Systems Integrators (RSIs) and GitHub-only partners, including certification pathways, training modules, onboarding, and competency requirements.
  • Manage the scheduling, coordination, and execution of partner training sessions (virtual, in-person, and hybrid), ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and consistent learner experiences.
  • Oversee instructors, facilitators, and training delivery partners to ensure high-quality instruction and content consistency across global partner audiences.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders—including Sales, Partner Enablement, Microsoft Worldwide Learning, Learning & Development, and Marketing—to align accreditation programs with business and partner needs.
  • Manage partner learning systems and tools, including the Partner Learning Portal (ZiftOne), ensuring content accuracy, discoverability, and usability.
  • Serve as the DRI/Lead PM for joint Microsoft-managed programs such as the Enterprise Skills Initiative (ESI) and Training Service Providers (TSPs).
  • Monitor partner progress, maintain certification and renewal records, and track key performance metrics to ensure program quality, adoption, and impact.
  • Ensure an exceptional partner learner experience by managing support processes, addressing partner inquiries, and implementing feedback-driven improvements.
  • Partner with data and insights teams to develop dashboards and reports that track program performance and partner credential growth.
  • Contribute to the evolution of GitHub’s global partner enablement infrastructure by standardizing accreditation practices across regions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field AND 3+ years experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or elated field AND 1+ year(s) experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR equivalent experience
  • Experience with learning management systems (LMS), partner portals, and enablement tools (e.g., ZiftOne, Microsoft Learn, or equivalent).
  • Proven success managing large-scale partner or customer training programs, including certification and accreditation initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple programs and stakeholders concurrently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Education, Business, Psychology, or a related field AND 5+ years experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR Master's Degree in Instructional Design, Learning and Development, or related field AND 3+ years experience in training facilitation, training design and development, adult learning theory, instructional design, enablement, or equivalent field
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 1+ year(s) experience using learning technologies and learning management systems.
  • Experience managing third-party training delivery vendors or service providers.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Worldwide Learning or Global Partner Solutions (GPS).

Compensation Range

The base salary range for this job is USD $85,000.00 - USD $225,400.00 /Yr.

These pay ranges are intended to cover roles based across the United States. An individual's base pay depends on various factors including geographical location and review of experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant. At GitHub certain roles are eligible for benefits and additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These rewards are allocated based on individual impact in role. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee's role.
