Partner Engagement Experience Intern
Red Hat’s Partner Engagement Experience (PEX) team is seeking a motivated and technically minded intern to help us deliver clear, consistent, and actionable communications across our partner ecosystem and internal stakeholder network.
Our team’s mission is to design, implement, and optimize a world-class partner program — encompassing compelling incentives, comprehensive enablement, and strong go-to-market (GTM) strategies — that accelerates Red Hat’s revenue growth across all partner routes.
This internship will focus on developing and executing communication efforts that leverage both strategic messaging and digital delivery. You’ll help build scalable communication assets, optimize user experiences on digital platforms, and incorporate technical solutions to ensure our internal and partner audiences stay informed and engaged.
Key Responsibilities
You will support the team by contributing to the following areas:
Communication Planning & Execution
- Assist in building and implementing an internal and external communications cascade plan aligned with PEX strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate across teams to support Phase 1–4 of the communications process (Leadership alignment, internal rollout, external dissemination, ongoing support).
- Track and coordinate timelines for content creation, approvals, and distribution.
Content Development

Write, edit, and polish internal and external communication materials including:
- Executive briefings
- Partner updates and newsletters
- Internal announcements and email communications
- Training or enablement documents
- Presentation decks for internal and partner-facing use

Support the development of key messages tailored to different audiences (executive leaders, partners, employees) with clarity, consistency, and action orientation.
Digital & Technical Execution
- Build and update internal landing pages on Red Hat’s intranet (“The Source”) to support communication campaigns.
- Use HTML/CSS and internal CMS tools to create, structure, and publish content with attention to visual design and accessibility standards.
- Explore automation options for recurring communications (e.g., scripts, templates, workflow optimization).
- Support integration of digital analytics tools for tracking engagement metrics.
Data & Engagement Analytics
- Help design and implement dashboards or reports to monitor communication effectiveness (open rates, click-through rates, engagement trends).
- Use tools like Google Analytics or internal reporting platforms to extract insights and recommend improvements.
- Assist in gathering feedback from stakeholders and applying findings to refine strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong editing/proofreading abilities.
- Ability to tailor messages for different audiences with clarity and consistency.
- Familiarity with project coordination and meeting deadlines in a cross-functional environment.
Technical skills in basic HTML/CSS and experience using web CMS platforms. - Comfort with analytics tools, reporting dashboards, or data visualization basics (e.g., Google Data Studio, Tableau, or similar).
- Proficiency with productivity tools (Google Slides, Docs, Sheets or Microsoft equivalents).
- Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable taking initiative.
- Interest in open source software, B2B partner ecosystems, and digital user experience.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Red Hat's technology or product portfolio.
- Familiarity with internal communication platforms or marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Staffbase, Igloo).
- Understanding of communication metrics and feedback loops, including A/B testing.
- Ability to use scripting or automation (Python, Bash) for reporting or workflow optimization.
- Basic understanding of APIs or integration concepts for digital platforms.
- Basic design skills (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) for presentation or web content enhancements.
