About the Role

The Head of Operator Partnerships – Regional is a senior leadership role responsible for driving business growth within the assigned region through strategic partnerships with telecom operators. This position oversees monetization of telecom products, connectivity optimization, and effective team leadership to achieve regional business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, including Operator Partnership Managers (OPM), Program Managers (PGM), Technical Account Managers (TAM), and Solution Engineers.
  • Provide strategic guidance and mentorship to ensure alignment with organizational goals.

Business Growth & Strategy

  • Own regional revenue targets and contribute to overall departmental goals.
  • Define and execute sales strategies toward telecom operators to achieve quarterly business plans.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic opportunities while maximizing revenue from existing partnerships.

Sales & Partnership Development

  • Drive and coordinate the end-to-end sales process with telecom operators, from initial engagement to deployment.
  • Lead negotiations and manage strategically important deals and projects.
  • Ensure successful integration of new products with telecom partners to generate profit and market references.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

  • Act as the regional subject matter expert for telecom products and connectivity solutions.
  • Monitor market trends and provide insights to the Managing Director and Director of Operator Strategy & Partnerships.
  • Report on project status and regional performance regularly; develop and implement functional strategies for the region.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of managing large-scale partnerships and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects in a global or regional context.
  • 10+ years of experience in telecom partnerships, business development, or sales leadership roles.
  • Strong understanding of telecom products, connectivity solutions, and market dynamics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • High level of business acumen and analytical skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
