- Serve as trusted advisor to senior executives on messaging, tone, and timing to influence perception with external audiences
- Develop and execute external communications programs tied to company milestones, product innovation, and market momentum
- Collaborate with our network of global PR agencies to drive proactive media engagement and manage reactive communications as needed
- Own and protect SailPoint’s corporate reputation, including issues management, crisis communications, and sensitive or high-stakes situations in close partnership with legal and executive leadership
- Anticipate reputational risks and develop scenario plans and communication playbooks to ensure organizational readiness
- Provide guidance that shapes our social media strategy across channels, amplifying SailPoint’s voice through owned platforms, including the company’s podcast network
- Embrace AI-powered tools and workflows to increase speed, scale, and effectiveness while preserving quality, credibility, and SailPoint’s unique voice
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of corporate communications and PR professionals, fostering strong execution, collaboration, and professional growth
- Set clear standards, processes, and operating rhythms for the corporate communications function, ensuring consistency, speed, and excellence across public relations, influencer relations, organic social media, and blog.
- Create messaging frameworks, FAQs, and communications plans to support cross-functional initiatives
- Work closely with marketing, product marketing, investor relations, legal and internal comms to ensure alignment
- Support major moments such as earnings, company news and launches, and industry events with clear, confident messaging
- Measure, analyze and report on the effectiveness of corporate communications programs, using insights and data to inform strategy and demonstrate business impact, maintaining high standards of quality and execution
- Ensure communications programs are designed to scale globally, with sensitivity to regional audiences, markets and media landscapes
