Events Coordinator
About the role:
The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in global event strategy and execution, event branding and marketing, industry trends, data and analytics, and event technology as this role requires you to amplify Red Hat’s message and brand awareness. They will have a track record of planning and executing in-person and virtual events, and should have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. They should have a strong desire to grow and evolve Red Hat's global event strategy, including the attendee experience and ROI.
What you will do:
- Support the Proprietary Events Team on key elements of the proprietary global event programs, including overall event strategy, annual event planning, process design and development, and event execution
- Support event leads in the planning and execution of Red Hat’s proprietary events
- Manage our internal event communications and keep resources up to date
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting on registration
- Develop supporting materials and resources as-needed for our proprietary events
What you will bring:
- 2+ years of experience in in-person and virtual event management, and marketing
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
- Extremely detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Solid project management skills and ability to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Self-starter with the ability to work as part of a team and build relationships
- Comfortable working across various time zones
- Willingness to travel and work occasional nights and weekends to support in-person or virtual events as needed, both internationally and domestically
The salary range for this position is $62,960.00 - $97,540.00. Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.
Pay Transparency
Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
