The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead, inspire, and develop a team of highly skilled Enterprise Account Managers dedicated to retaining and expanding Atlassian’s largest Enterprise customers across the APAC region. With over 300,000 customers worldwide, our Account Management team partners with the most complex and strategic customers in their respective territories.

As the regional lead for APAC, you will be the primary steward of our Enterprise Account Management strategy in the territory. You will operate with a high degree of independence, ensuring that our global playbook is executed with excellence across a diverse and complex market. Reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Account Management, you will be responsible for driving best in class retention rates, executing on expansion opportunities, and maintaining a predictable, high-performing regional business..

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of Enterprise Account Managers focused on the APAC market. Work closely with our Global and APAC Sales Teams to drive Total Book of Business growth in the region through strategic alignment and execution.
  • Drive the consistent application of our global GTM model and account management playbooks, ensuring high standards of execution across all APAC territories.
  • Be accountable for team performance and regional revenue forecasting, specifically on retention and growth KPIs. You will balance priorities across a complex APAC customer landscape while providing proactive, predictable visibility into regional performance for global leadership.
  • Oversee regional staffing, onboarding, and upskilling, serving as the senior point of contact for the team to remove blockers and enable optimal performance.
  • Collaborate deeply with APAC Sales, Channel/Partner ecosystems, and Customer Success to ensure a unified "One Atlassian" approach to our strategic customers.
  • Lead or collaborate on projects to improve regional practices and ways of working, ensuring the APAC voice is represented in global process improvements.

What You’ll Bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in Account Management or Sales leadership, with a proven track record of managing teams focused on large, complex Enterprise customers.
  • A disciplined approach to executing established GTM strategies and global playbooks with precision and consistency.
  • Deep understanding of the business landscape and cultural nuances within APAC, with the ability to adapt global tactics for local resonance without losing strategic alignment.
  • Proven ability to lead a region with minimal day-to-day oversight, demonstrating sound judgment and a proactive approach to reporting and problem-solving.
  • Strong experience in revenue forecasting and pipeline management. You should be highly proficient in using data to drive business decisions and provide visibility into the total health of the regional book.
  • A passion for people development, with experience coaching EAMs through complex renewals and value-based expansion conversations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to represent regional performance and needs clearly to global leadership.
  • A track record of building strong relationships across a matrixed organization, particularly with Sales and Partner teams.
